Recreating Arcade Games
July 2026 - October 2026
What I aimed for:
Learning outcomes:
Understand the design and break down mechanics
Be more comfortable in Unity
Transfer my skills from GML and learn the basics of C#
Comfortable using the correct syntax
Have learnt how to use prefabs effectively
Broke down designs and recreated them
With this project, I set myself the challenge of reverse engineering 3 of the classic arcade games.
I did this as, in order to be the designer I want to be, I must improve my programming skills and
deconstruct how these games were designed.
