My contributions

Game Design Document

  • Created a GDD to set design pillars and scope

  • Answered important questions with research

    during pre-production.

  • Had the gameplay loop and mechanics defined

    early on

Enemy Design

  • Developed ideas into functional enemy designs

  • Designed varied attacks and iteratively tuned them

  • Collaborated effectively to align goals for sprints

User Experience

  • Designed the cameras behaviour to change

by using a state machine.

  • Created interactive UI

  • Improved game feel

Overall, this final year project allowed me to explore the importance of good design especially in a larger group. Through designing enemies, camera behaviour and levels

,I learnt how to communicate with different disciplines to design gameplay that matched our vision.
